We are seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to support the Head of Practice Learning and Principal Social Worker in co-ordinating quality and performance review across Early Help and Children's Social Care for the Royal London Borough of Kingston and the London Borough of Richmond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing the core auditing programme
  • Conducting deep dives and table top reviews
  • Working closely with the intelligence service to have an in-depth understanding of patterns and themes emerging across practice

Requirements

  • Education to degree level in social work with proven evidence of continuing professional development and registration with Social Work England
  • Coaching and mentoring qualification or experience in training professionals
  • Management experience in children's social care with a strong ability to apply various practice models and tools
  • Deep knowledge of legislation, statutory frameworks, and national policy related to children, young people, and families
  • Strong understanding of key challenges in children's social care, with experience in using research and evidence to inform decisions
  • Proven experience in conducting audits and using learning to improve practice
  • Skilled in developing and implementing quality assurance systems to enhance service delivery
  • Ability to analyze complex information and drive best practices across Early Help and Children's Social Care
  • Experience in presenting complex reports, with strong analytical, IT, and report writing skills
  • Proven ability to use user feedback to improve services and influence practice
