We are working with a further education college based in Birmingham, the organisation is home to thousands of bright and enthusiastic students and many talented and experienced staff. They are passionate about providing the qualifications and training that local employers and communities need. Their goal is to prepare all their students for the world of work, both now and in years to come.

This role is a key part of the college's efforts to provide students with valuable work experience and industry placements. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with local employers, identifying placement opportunities, and coordinating student placements throughout the academic year.

Key responsibilities include:

* Utilising and engaging with local employer networks to secure placement opportunities
* Working with students from across the college to support their placement journey
* Coordinating and placing students in their work experience and industry placements
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs
* Working with students to identify their career aspirations

Requirements for the role include:

* Experience in a sales or business development role
* Good understanding of sales techniques likely to be successful with employers
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills
