About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Director to lead our Flood Risk team at Align Property Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering our hydraulic modelling services to clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of hydraulic modelers and engineers to deliver high-quality flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
  • Develop and implement best practices in hydraulic modelling to drive innovation and excellence
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Manage project delivery, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements, technologies, and industry trends to provide cutting-edge solutions
Requirements
  • Degree in Geography, Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent
  • Post-qualification experience in flood risk consulting and hydraulic modelling
  • Proven record of delivering flood alleviation schemes, flood risk assessments, and drainage strategies
  • Strong project management skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Leadership skills, including mentoring and team building
