Job Title: Procurement Manager

Kalsec is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality raw materials and ingredients for our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials and ingredients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with Kalsec's quality and procurement requirements.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities with production schedules.
  • Travel as needed to ensure supplier compliance and to monitor crop conditions in growing regions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as procurement, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or a related field, with a strong understanding of negotiation practices and inventory control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience as a buyer or procurement specialist in the food industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of inventory control practices and technical product specifications in the area of food products and spices.
  • Ability to travel internationally and work in a diverse environment.
