Xpert Resourcing are working with a friendly and supportive family-owned manufacturing business that are looking to recruit this new position to help the business as it continues to grow.
**Duties will include**:
- Managing and updating the product database.
- Ensuring that the current products are updated and new products added to the price lists.
- Carry out data cleansing of the system to maintain accurate information.
- Negotiate supplier contracts including terms and pricing.
- Complete new purchase orders to be sent out.
- Booking goods onto the system.
- Sourcing new products and suppliers, managing stock levels and reordering where necessary.
- Responsible for setting the price lists, ensuring these are kept accurate and up to date and also, when necessary helping with product developments and specifications.
**Experience / skills required**:
- Previous experience of dealing with purchasing and procurement of goods.
- Ability to demonstrate experience of negotiating with suppliers and contracts.
**Hours of work**:
0800 - 1700 Monday to Friday
