Job Title: Chief Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and high-performing Chief Systems Engineer to join our Assured Position Navigation and Timing (APNT) Engineering team. As a key member of our Systems & Products business unit, you will be responsible for producing Digital GPS Anti-Jam Systems and Alternative Navigation Solutions for the military market.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide Design Authority expertise across a range of APNT products, providing technical direction across the product lifecycle.
  • Develop and shape technical requirements, design, and technical documentation for APNT products.
  • Manage technical requirements through the design lifecycle to meet product development requirements.
  • Lead the engineering team in designing and developing APNT products, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with customers and system engineering teams to develop and shape technical requirements.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of high-speed digital design, electro-mechanical, and/or thermal product design within harsh environments.
  • Design of circuits in analogue and digital, with exposure to FPGA or DSP control.
  • Proven experience in systems engineering principles with regards product development.
  • Able to prioritize and manage tasks and engineering team activities to ensure completion to time and schedule.
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK, Europe, and the US.
  • Degree in STEM or similar industry certification.
  • Experience in schematic, PCB layout tools, and electronics simulation environments.
