About the Role

Oxfam GB is a leading humanitarian and development organization that works to alleviate poverty and suffering around the world. As a Deputy Boutique Manager, you will play a key role in the success of our retail operations, working closely with the Shop Manager to drive sales growth, improve customer experience, and maintain a safe and energized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercially aware and constantly looking for new business opportunities, you will motivate your team and create a positive work environment.
  • You will be empowered to take ownership of key areas of the business, including retail processes, merchandising, and customer service.
  • Working collaboratively with the Shop Manager and other colleagues, you will build strong relationships with the local community and other civil society organizations.
  • You will be numerate and financially literate, able to interpret basic financial reports, monitor budgets, and maintain shop administrative systems.
Requirements
  • Ability to support development and maintenance of a successful, inclusive, and diverse team.
  • Commercial awareness with ability to support effective retail processes and strong merchandising.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Shop Manager and to build positive relationships with other colleagues.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with the local community and other civil society organizations.
  • Numerate and financially literate, able to interpret basic financial reports, monitor budgets, and maintain shop administrative systems.
