Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced panel technician to join our team in Romford. As a panel technician with Steer Automotive Group, you will be responsible for expertly repairing and replacing vehicle panels using the latest techniques and tools.

  • Panel Repairs & Replacements: Assess vehicle damage and create efficient repair plans, utilizing your knowledge of panel repair methods, including welding, filling, and finishing.
  • Detailed Work: Ensure perfect integration of new panels and parts with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team to meet deadlines and maintain our high standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Keep your workspace clean, organized, and in line with health and safety guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a panel technician or similar role within the automotive repair industry.

  • Tool Proficiency: Expertise in using panel beating and spray-painting tools.
  • Qualifications: Certifications such as ATA, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent are highly desirable.
