Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Construction Inspector to join our team at CDR Maguire Inc. in Reading, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation construction and be able to work effectively with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.

About the Role

The Transportation Construction Inspector will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contract documents, conducting regular site inspections, and preparing daily progress reports. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with contract documents and health and safety plans
  • Prepare and submit daily progress reports to management and clients
  • Verify accuracy of contractor's layout and check delivered materials for conformity to contract documents
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
  • Strong background in transportation construction and experience working with contractors and engineers
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
