Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Manager to join our Children's Assessment Team in Gloucestershire. The successful candidate will have experience as a Senior Social Worker, a recognized qualification in Social Work, and enhanced DBS clearance. They will be responsible for leading a team of social workers, ensuring statutory duties and best practices are followed, and developing a team plan aligned with Children's Services strategic objectives.

About the Role: As a Team Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our Children's Assessment Team. You will be responsible for managing a team of social workers, overseeing their workload, and ensuring that they provide high-quality services to vulnerable children and families. You will also be involved in developing policies and procedures, contributing to quality assurance frameworks, and participating in training and professional development opportunities.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of between £47,573 - £49,590 per annum, subject to experience
  • An annual retention payment of £2,000
  • A welcome payment of £5,000
  • Hybrid working opportunities (2-3 days in the office)
  • 5 days annual leave (rising to 30.5 days after 5 years of continuous service)
  • A relocation allowance of up to £8,000 (T&C's apply)

About You:

  • You must have Social Work England registration
  • You must have experience at Senior Social Worker level
  • You must have a recognized qualification in Social Work
  • You must have successfully completed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
  • You must have a full driving licence and willingness to drive
  • You must have enhanced DBS clearance
