SEND Administrator Assistant

The role of a SEND Administrator in an educational setting is to provide administrative support to the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) at a secondary school. Job Description- Liaise with students, parents, and teachers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Filling in applications and forms related to student welfare and education.
- Communicate with external agencies to secure services and resources for students.
- Monitor attendance and progression of students to ensure they are meeting their academic goals.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special educational needs and be able to work effectively as part of a team. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £14.50 per hour, based on industry standards for similar roles in the UK.
As a SEND Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the SENCO in managing the day-to-day operations of the special educational needs department. This includes ensuring that all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
