About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Live Director to join our team, responsible for overseeing the transmission of live sports events. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events, from pre-production to post-production, and collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and quality control all signals in and out of transmission
  • Load, prepare, and transmit daily playout schedules
  • Ensure all scheduled media is available for playout each day and communicate with relevant channels if anything is missing or incorrect
  • Provide first-line support for all transmission services and equipment
  • Be the point of contact for escalating issues when necessary
Requirements
  • Solid, significant experience executing scheduled live events to ensure exact content is broadcast at the correct time
  • Experience working in transmission with knowledge of file-based media preparation
  • Understanding of broadcast automation systems
  • Good understanding of broadcast rules, regulations, and compliance in a commercial and residential environment
