About the Role

As a PAUT Level 3 Technician at Intertek, you will be based at our NDT site in Derby, providing technical support to the Site Services Department. Your key responsibilities will include running and developing Phased Array UT and Contact UT for the business, as well as liaising with clients on technical issues and developing NDT procedures to meet their needs.

Key Activities

  • Liaison with Customers
  • Develop new client base
  • Advise clients on the appropriate NDT technique required for their needs
  • Keep Level 2 & 3 approvals up to date
  • Approval of techniques / data cards
  • Contract Review of paperwork
  • Raising of Technical Documentation
  • Training & over checking of staff & functional checks
  • Ensuring Calibration checks are carried out
  • Consumables ordering/logging and database updating
