Corporate Reputation Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Reputation Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of our UK retail investing business's PR strategy.

About the Role
  • To protect and enhance our company's reputation as a leader in UK retail investing by identifying opportunities that will elevate our corporate profile.
  • To establish and maintain relationships with key 'personal finance' journalists and thought leaders, leveraging media events, calls, and strategic communications to promote our brand.
  • To create engaging content, including press releases, articles, commentaries, social media posts, and other PR materials that showcase our company's expertise and values.
  • To collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop compelling content for external media channels, using research and gathering information from various sources to inform news stories and angles.
  • To manage media enquiries, provide standard communication content, escalate enquiries when necessary, host media interviews, brief spokespeople, and select/coach media representatives.
  • To monitor daily media coverage and manage reporting to ensure our company's message is effectively communicated.

Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • A highly motivated individual with proven media relations experience in the retail investing or personal finance industry.
  • Excellent writing/editing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues with journalists.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced commercial environment.
