About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as an experienced clinician in our Minor Injuries Unit at Evesham Community Hospital, part of Worcestershire Health & Care NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will have significant experience working as an ENP/Care Practitioner within a minor injuries or A&E environment and possess excellent clinical skills and knowledge. They will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to more junior members of the team and deputising for the Countywide MIU Lead when required.

We are offering a 10-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with a salary range of £43,041 - £70,305 per annum (inclusive of enhancements for unsocial hours). Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic, autonomous, clinical nursing services by attending to all referrals/self-referrals to the Minor Injury Unit.
  • Deputise for Countywide MIU Lead in times of absence, ensuring a consistent workforce within all Units, providing equitable care to all patients.
  • Responsible for providing expert knowledge and skills to more junior members of the team with a willingness to professionally develop their role within the ever-changing scope of emergency care.

Requirements:

  • A high level of clinical knowledge and skill gained from working within a Minor Injury/Urgent Care or A&E unit or an appropriate setting where these skills may be obtained.
  • Good knowledge of Safeguarding.
