Role Summary
We are seeking a talented Senior Design Engineer to join our team in Lancaster. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of concept and existing products, supporting sales and project management, and working closely with customers and suppliers. Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Lead the development of concept and existing products as Product Champion. Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure design activities meet sales enquiries and works orders. Utilize Autodesk suite of design tools to perform finite elemental analysis through computer simulation. Produce detail engineering and assembly drawings for manufacturing, testing and verification. Attend client meetings and trade shows, representing the company. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum of HND in Mechanical Engineering. At least 5 years design engineering experience. Proficiency in Mathcad and Autodesk software. OrcaFlex (cable and preferably cable protection system) experience. ANSYS knowledge. Excellent report writing skills. Inventor proficiency. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
