Job Description

A global manufacturer in the Automotive industry is looking for an experienced Automotive Electronics Specialist to join their R&D team in Cambridge. This exciting opportunity will involve designing and developing cutting-edge electronics hardware for leading products in the Motorsport & Commercial vehicles sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering, with experience in analogue & digital circuit design, testing, analysis, and documentation.

This role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing electronics systems architecture adhering to automotive industry standards and processes
  • Analogue & digital circuit design, testing, analysis, and documentation
  • Hardware de-bugging, testing, validation, and verification

Key Skills & Experience:

  • HND/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
  • PCB design & layout
  • Analogue & digital electronic design & simulation
  • Electronics test & prototyping
  • Hardware de-bugging
  • Engineering documentation
  • Microcontrollers & peripherals
  • Communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet etc.)

Salary & Benefits:

  • £45,000 - £60,000 pa, depending on experience
