About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Sunbelt Rentals Careers. As a key member of our maintenance and repair team, you will be responsible for ensuring our specialist survey equipment is in top condition. This includes servicing and repairing Total stations, GNSS, Laser Scanners & Construction lasers from leading manufacturers such as Trimble, Leica & Topcon.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of equipment and to develop your skills in equipment maintenance and repair. You will be based in our manufacturer-approved service centre where you will work alongside experienced technicians to maintain our rental fleet and customer repairs. Your attention to detail and ability to work accurately will be crucial in ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
As a Service Technician at Sunbelt Rentals Careers, you will be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to ensure that they are kept informed about any issues or concerns. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive service and maintenance records. We offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including generous holiday allowance, life assurance, retail discount scheme, employee recognition awards, and a great Company pension scheme. About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in a Service Technician role and be able to work as part of a team supporting colleagues. Experience working with survey equipment would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided. You should also be flexible and self-motivated, keen to embrace new training opportunities, which may on occasion require staying away from home. Great communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as well as a commitment to delivering an excellent service.
