About the Role:
Our client, a reputable and established business with over 20 depots nationwide, is seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and inspecting vehicles, repairing them in a safe and efficient manner, and adhering to all Health & Safety policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and inspect vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Repair vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, using the necessary tools and equipment.
- Report any faults to the supervisor.
- Ensure cleanliness throughout the workshop.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order.
Requirements:
- Comfortable with routine maintenance, safety inspections, and diagnostics.
- Time served city & guilds or equivalent qualification.
- Team player.
