Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and effective individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator. This role will involve processing customer and supplier orders, delivery requests, and accounts to ensure that customer needs and service levels are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and update orders and delivery requests in accordance with the company's procedures.
  • Develop and maintain good and effective working relationships between customers, suppliers, and sales staff.
  • Support the sales teams in their objectives.
  • Ensure prompt action and progress of call offs and queries received from customers, suppliers, and sales staff.
  • Check customer and manufacturer acknowledgements.
  • Monitor customer credit status in conjunction with Head Office and ensure that company Credit Control procedures are always adhered to.
  • Work with colleagues to achieve team objectives and KPI targets.
  • General office duties such as visitor reception, admin, and filing.
About You

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be able to work calmly under pressure and make correct decisions. Experience of processing information using systems, such as Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and PODs, is essential. A good understanding of IT skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Windows environment, is also required.
