Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Catering Operations Manager to oversee the front-of-house activities in our busy catering department. As part of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient service delivery during meal times, working closely with the management team to manage rotas and staff requirements.

  • Liaise with the management team to optimize rotas and staffing levels
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations

In addition to managing daily operations, you will also be responsible for hosting and assisting with internal and external functions and hospitality events. Our catering department serves around 2000 meals per day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as managing a varied event calendar.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Basis food hygiene certification or equivalent
  • Basis health and safety certification or equivalent
  • Good people management skills for motivating and directing team members
  • Experience working in a large-scale catering environment to high standards
