Key Responsibilities

This is an ongoing contract with opportunities for permanency for the right candidate.

Salary: £12.05 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 5-6 days per week (weekends included), from 9am starts

Location: Crewe, CW1

The Key Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Coordinating parcel delivery and collection services between Parcelshops and Smart Lockers.
  • Loading and unloading parcels from vans using manual handling techniques.
  • Following established routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of parcels.
  • Providing excellent customer service to recipients and senders.
  • Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Handling up to 1000 parcels per day.
  • Supporting warehouse operations, particularly with loading and unloading in bays.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driver's license.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence (minor offenses only).
  • A recent DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to pass a driving assessment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to handle heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
