About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transport Compliance Specialist to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles in our fleet meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.

You will work closely with our Transport Supervisor and Transport Manager to maintain a robust maintenance schedule, handle any issues related to the fleet, and ensure that we remain compliant with Transport Legislation.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all vehicles are compliant with Transport Legislation and DVSA guidelines
  • Coordinate routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs for the trunking fleet
  • Handle tachograph issues and ensure proper record-keeping and compliance with Working Time Regulations
  • Respond promptly to any issues or emergencies related to the fleet
  • Manage vehicle defects and support the resolution process
  • Administer purchase order requests and track related costs

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of road transport and commercial vehicle compliance, including relevant legislation
  • Previous experience in transport and logistics roles
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • Able to work well under pressure and quickly resolve issues
