Electrical Control Systems Engineer

A4 Plus Limited is developing a groundbreaking solution to address the world's fuel and energy production challenges with its patented thermochemical technology. This role is to join the team based in Cambridge and contribute to this exciting project.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Design and develop Electrical Control Systems suitable for the company's expanding portfolio of chemical processing plant products.
  • Prepare, review and approve drawings, layouts, specifications and sub supplier data to ensure they meet the requirements of the project.
  • Generate other technical documentation including P&IDs, Functional design specifications, software design specifications, Instrumentation schedules, Communication maps, Cable schedules, Logic diagrams, Termination schedules, Cable block diagrams, and general report writing.
  • Define and write PLC and/or custom electronics control and instrumentation Programs using C, C++ and industry standard languages.

We are looking for an experienced ECI engineer with knowledge and experience in a suitable industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering credible designs.

The package includes a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Generous Stock Options, Flexible working hours, and Annual Personal Development budget.
