Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Coordinator to join our finance team at VC Evidensia UK. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and working closely with the Hospital Director to manage financial reporting.

About the Role

This full-time position requires 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary estimated to be around £30,000-£35,000 per annum. As a Financial Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all banking processes, including petty cash reconciliation, cashing up, banking, and sales reports.

You will also be responsible for checking client account balances against estimates and consent, recording everything clearly in the practice management software. Additionally, you will support the oversight of the Drugs and Consumables Budget and assist the Hospital Manager with regular P&L reviews and financial reporting to identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all banking processes according to company policies.
  • Check client account balances and record in practice management software.
  • Support the oversight of the Drugs and Consumables Budget.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a finance and customer service role, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software. You will also develop excellent working relationships with clinical teams, including referral clinicians, veterinary nurses, nurse trainees, animal care assistants, reception staff, insurance administrators, and the Hospital Management team.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a finance and customer service role is preferred.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software is desirable.
