Job Title: Plant Operator

We are seeking a skilled Plant Operator to join our team at Hargreaves Industrial Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our plant equipment, ensuring the smooth delivery of our services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Loadall telehandlers to load lorries with treated waste
  • Stock out waste into windrows and maintain windrows or store in barns
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards of work areas and plant
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks on mobile plant
  • Wash down mobile plant
  • Log product movements
  • Maintain standards on stocking pads and keep drains and gulleys clear
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of site safety standards
  • NPORS license for a Loadall telehandler
  • Knowledge and experience in a similar role
  • Hold NPORS telehandler license
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good level of personal presentation and hygiene
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative
  • Good time-keeping and willingness to work overtime as necessary
  • Good communication skills
