Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Maintech Recruitment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production machinery and facilities to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct reactive and planned maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a heavy to medium manufacturing environment.
  • Level 3 NVQ, BTEC City & Guilds equivalent or higher in a relevant field.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and overtime as required.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of £46,500 per annum, inclusive of shift allowance.
  • 8-hour night shifts, Sunday night to Friday morning.
  • Pension contribution.
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Free onsite parking.
