Accounting Professional Wanted for Dynamic Team

We are thrilled to partner with a successful and innovative accountancy practice in the UK that is seeking an accomplished Accounts Semi-Senior to join their ranks.

The Role of an Accounting Professional:
  1. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial statements in compliance with relevant financial reporting standards.
  2. Accounting Schedules: Create detailed accounting schedules that support the balances and transactions featured in the financial statements.
  3. Time Management: Manage time efficiently to ensure projects are completed within budget and deadlines.
  4. Accounting Recommendations: Provide timely recommendations regarding accounting matters and financial reporting.

Additional Responsibilities of an Accounting Professional:

  1. Bookkeeping Assistance: Assist with bookkeeping and the preparation of VAT returns.
  2. Month-End Procedures: Excel in month-end procedures, including the preparation of control account reconciliations.
  3. Quarterly Management Accounts: Prepare quarterly management accounts for clients.
The Ideal Candidate for the Accounting Role:
  1. Possess AAT Level 3 or 4, ACCA, or ACA studier qualifications.
  2. Bring a minimum of 1 year's experience in accounts preparation within a practice environment.
  3. Show expertise in cloud-based accounting systems, including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  4. Display exceptional IT skills, particularly in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  5. Possess basic tax knowledge, including an understanding of tax computations, PAYE, and VAT.
  6. Excel in organisational and time management skills.

The estimated salary for this role is around £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your accounting career to new heights with a reputable firm.
