Audit and Accounts Senior Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our successful team in London.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA or ACCA) and possess 3 years of UK practice experience. The portfolio of clients you will work with includes high-profile celebrities, real estate, retail, financial services, and other commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead audit engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and tailor audit programs to address key areas of concern.
  • Prepare audit planning documentation, including programs and budgets, in a timely manner.
  • Perform substantive testing and compliance checks, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Co-ordinate and manage audit teams, ensuring assignments are completed within established timeframes.
  • Prepare financial statements (under FRS 102) and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Mentor junior staff members, providing support and guidance as needed.
