Premier Recruit is seeking a skilled HGV 2 driver to join their team as a Drainage Operative. The successful candidate will work on a Temp to Perm basis for a Drainage Contractor based in Ware, Hertfordshire, in conjunction with Thames Water.

This is a physically demanding role, requiring the ability to work as part of a 2-person team unblocking drains outside properties and on the public highway. The successful candidate will be provided with all necessary Personal Protective Equipment.

The shift pattern will be 4 on 4 off, with 12-hour working shifts paid at £14.00 - £21 per hour (overtime). Requirements include a can-do attitude, ability to work as a team player, and a Full UK Cat C Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unblocking drains outside properties and on the public highway
  • Working as part of a 2-person team
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Meeting safety and quality standards

Requirements:

  • A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • A Full UK Cat C Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • A Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • A Valid CPC Card
