Role Overview

The Academic Support Professional will work in an Ofsted Outstanding Specialist School, providing exceptional education for children aged 2 to 19 years with Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties.

All students have an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) and are under the guidance of the Hertfordshire Education Authority.

This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 3:45 pm, with one day per week extended to 5:15 pm.

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs and a passion for making a positive impact.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the teaching team in delivering high-quality education to our students. You will also contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive environment that values each child's unique needs.

Our school serves 168 students and offers a tailored learning experience designed to meet their specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the development of individualized education plans

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to make a difference in the lives of our students. We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £32,000 depending on experience.
