Job Title: Building Services Mechanical Lead Engineer - Prime Residential and Commercial

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Services Mechanical Lead Engineer to join our team at Masterfix GB Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of mechanical systems and services within our prime residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
  • Respond promptly to mechanical issues and emergencies during regular working hours, providing technical support and assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute mechanical projects and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Participate in building shutdowns, ensuring that all necessary work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities, keeping accurate records and providing detailed reports as required.
  • Maintain a professional image of the company, building effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and customers.
  • Assist in monitoring practices to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, reporting any H&S issues to management.
  • Undertake robust site-specific risk assessments, ensuring that all necessary safety protocols are in place.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role within prime residential or high-end hotel environments or commercial.
  • City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, plumbing, and heating or any relevant mechanical level 3 qualification.
  • Excellent IT skills and proficiency working via a PDA/mobile device and writing reports.
  • Outstanding customer service and client-facing skills.
  • Legionella awareness and IOSH managing safely.
