Job Summary

We are seeking a Sustainability Consultant to join our team, working on a wide range of strategic and operational engagements for private market investors and their portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients in driving ESG integration, value creation, and impact performance improvements across portfolio companies.
  • Work across ERM and the firm's functions to deliver leading operating capabilities and insights to clients' portfolio companies.
  • Lead and direct large, global projects, ensuring client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Provide expert guidance on strategic ESG-related matters, leveraging our global pool of subject matter experts.
  • Drive innovation and growth within a dynamic team.
  • Support the development and delivery of client post-investment portfolio company ESG programs.
  • Work with clients to design and execute post-investment value creation plans.
  • Provide insights, guidance, and support to clients and portfolio company management on integrating ESG and impact into broader business practices.
  • Develop repeatable processes, frameworks, and materials for clients and support their deployment across investment portfolios.
  • Ensure ESG interventions and reporting are completed for clients' portfolio companies.
  • Support ESG and impact due diligence on key ESG & impact drivers.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge frameworks and regulatory drivers, including TCFD, EU Green deal components, and the ESG Data Convergence Initiative.
  • Demonstrate an ability to identify and manage commercial and operational risks.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through project communications and engagement.
  • Provide leadership skills focused on engagement, decision-making, and execution.
  • Previous experience with climate change aspects, including GHG assessments, Science-Based Targets, and decarbonization roadmaps, is desirable but not required.
