As a Port Crane Operations Specialist with Human Engineering Ltd, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of port cranes. With a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on RTG's, STS, mobile harbour, and RMG cranes. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading provider of crane aftermarket solutions, specializing in port cranes.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on port cranes to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
  • Perform upgrades, modifications, and installations as required to enhance crane performance and functionality.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate service activities and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic Engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience working with port cranes.
  • Strong knowledge of crane systems, including mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic components.
  • Industry certifications or tickets related to crane maintenance and operation.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £50,000-£70,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

This position may also suit candidates with experience in crane engineering, hydraulics, port operations, mechanical engineering, or field service engineering.
