Electrical Building Services Design Engineer - Rail

Location: North Yorkshire

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000

Our client is a leading provider of transportation infrastructure solutions, with a strong presence in the UK and Ireland. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer to join their Engineering Team in York.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design delivery of allocated E&P/MEP projects, working closely with the projects Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) and or Lead Engineer. Key duties will include:

  1. Ensuring designs are completed to meet CRE/Lead Engineers requirements.
  2. Planning the allocated design works to meet the agreed timescales.
  3. Identifying changes to the projects client requirements and raising the changes with the CRE/Lead Engineer.
  4. Ensuring projects are completed to meet all client's requirements and applicable standards.
  5. Ensuring projects are completed to the agreed project programme.
  6. Experience in the use of Amtech, Microstation and Relux Design Software.
  7. A self-motivated team player able to work with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical building services design, with experience in the use of Amtech, Microstation and Relux Design Software. They will be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
