At Rolls-Royce Submarines, we're seeking a skilled Lead Planner to join our Project Management Teams. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.

We're a leader in propulsion system design and development for the Royal Navy's nuclear submarine fleet, and we're committed to innovation and problem-solving. Our diverse and exciting range of growth opportunities includes expanding our current product and service offerings, entering new markets, and sustaining the environment through the development of clean energy solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain schedules for assigned work scopes in line with our monthly planning cycle.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for planning and scheduling methodology and processes.
  • Provide planning process support and governance to the wider delivery team.
  • Identify and resolve schedule impact issues within the Control Account Schedule (CAS).
  • Work with Earned Value Management (EVM) data and reports.

Requirements

  • Project Planning and Controls (PPC) or APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) desirable.
  • Demonstratable experience in a similar position or entry-level qualification (HNC or Foundation Degree) desirable.
  • Strong knowledge and skills of scheduling software (Primavera P6).
