Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Longdon Hall School, an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged 7-18 with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to provide individualized support and guidance to pupils with complex needs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing learning materials and running classroom activities
  • Supporting pupils with emotional and physical needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized support plans
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure successful outcomes for pupils
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
