About the Role

We are seeking an experienced High Speed Project Manager to join our Engineering and Renewals team at ENGINEERINGUK. This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled professional to lead projects across the full portfolio of Network Rail High Speed works delivery renewals, inspection, and maintenance programmes.

The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering a portfolio of projects in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, meeting client requirements and adhering to Governance of Railway Investment Projects (GRIP), applicable Network Rail company standards, current legislation, and procedures.

This role involves leading, inspiring, directing, and developing specialist teams to deliver successful projects that meet route objectives for internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, as well as experience in team leadership, planning, contracting, and delivery of projects.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including a healthy work-life balance, opportunities for career development, and a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for delivery of a portfolio of projects in a safe and environmentally responsible manner to time, cost, and quality, in accordance with GRIP, applicable Network Rail company standards, current legislation, and procedures.
  • Lead, inspire, direct, and develop specialist teams to deliver successful projects that meet route objectives for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Direct and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to identify cost-effective solutions to client requirements, establish a robust baseline plan, and manage and maintain the plan to project completion.
