Financial Controller

OCC Computer Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations and drive financial planning, analysis, and decision-making to ensure the company's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, including management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee the management of financial systems, processes, and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a small team of finance professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions, including cost analysis, variance analysis, and forecasting.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualification: ACA or ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Finance site lead or in a similar role, with a strong background in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Skills: Expertise in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a hybrid arrangement of 3 days on-site in Malton, North Yorkshire, and 2 days working from home.
