Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts to drive business growth and profitability.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Financial Operations Management
- Oversee all financial operations, including cash flow management, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processing.
- Manage a small team of finance professionals, providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws.
- Business Partnership
- Act as a business partner to the commercial and operational teams, providing financial guidance and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability.
Requirements
- Professional Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience
- Previous experience as a finance site lead or in a similar role.
- Experience in managing a team, supporting coaching and driving team performance.
- Skills
- Expertise in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Experience of a fast-paced finance role, including month-end management.
- Relevant manufacturing sector experience of stock costing and reconciliations.
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role is based in Malton, North Yorkshire, with a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days on-site and 2 days working from home.
