Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Become a key member of our support team as a Learning Support Assistant, working with students who require additional help.

Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £85 - £95 Per day

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer assistance to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Assist in implementing individual education plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Provide support during classroom activities and educational outings
  • Help students develop key skills and promote their personal growth
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure students' progress
Requirements:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning difficulties
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • First Aid training certification
Working Conditions:

This role may involve standing for long periods, assisting students with physical tasks, and working in a classroom environment. Some flexibility in working hours may be required to support educational outings or events.
