The estimated salary for this role is £57,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our rehabilitation service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a patient-centred environment and be committed to delivering excellence in mental health treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments of new admissions to determine appropriate care, working under the guidance of the Consultant Psychiatrist and in collaboration with the ward team.
  • Lead learning activities, clinical supervision, and participate in clinical governance.
  • Support physical health needs and provide emergency care as required.
  • Undertake prescribing and phlebotomy within your scope of practice and competency.
  • Conduct risk assessments, adjust observation levels, and ensure care remains as least restrictive as possible.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD/RGN): Valid NMC registration is required.
  • Non-Medical Prescriber: Independent prescribing qualification required.
  • Proven ACP Experience: Experience as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, preferably within mental health or rehabilitation.
  • Commitment to Professional Development: Dedicated to evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
