Asset Investment Analyst

Mason Blake is seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to join their team in a Transition role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transitions involving pooled and segregated discretionary multi-asset funds, with a focus on trading strategies, pre-trade estimates, and post-transition analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage simple transitions involving all asset classes with oversight and support
  • Contribute to the formulation of proposed trading and implementation strategies around transitions
  • Provide technical expertise and market knowledge to support Client Directors in planning and executing transitions
  • Liaise with other departments and teams to deliver a consistent high-quality solution to clients
  • Support the Investment Strategy Management Co-ordination Manager in their role as required
  • Ensure adherence to risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements
  • Educate Client Directors on the issues and costs of transitioning mandates involving fixed income and equity assets
  • Collaborate with the team to design and develop strategic and tactical IT solutions

The ideal candidate will have experience in transitions gained at an asset management house, knowledge of derivatives, and strong academics with a CFA or IMC qualification.
