Guideline Coding Analyst

Insight Investment is seeking a skilled Guideline Coding Analyst to join its Guideline Management team in London. The team is responsible for implementing, coding, and monitoring investment guidelines, working closely with fund managers and client directors to ensure guidelines are operationally sound and investment risk limits are adhered to.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing investment guidelines following their execution and coding pre/post-trade investment restrictions into thinkFolio and other coding systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building a detailed knowledge of thinkFolio and other core coding systems
  • Working closely with fund managers and client directors to ensure accurate coding and timely sign-off
  • Supporting the team with the management of coding cases via our workflow tool, escalating cases as necessary
  • Understanding regulatory, house, and fund manager coding requirements and implementing rules as requested
  • Building solid working relationships with internal parties, including fund managers, legal, risk, client directors, dealers, and others
