The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of up to £42,186 per annum.

  • To work collaboratively with adults who require intensive support, applying a strength-based approach to minimize risks.
  • Partner with other professionals to ensure a multi-agency approach that empowers adults and/or their carers to live independently.
  • As an experienced social worker, apply relevant legislation, policy, procedures, and social work theory in an autonomous manner.
  • Identify and support vulnerable adults and carers using Making Safeguarding Personal and complete section 42 enquiries as directed.
  • Engage with adults and carers using a strengths-based approach to identify available resources meeting their needs.
  • Prioritize ongoing professional development to stay current with the evolving demands of the role, including relevant training and encouraging staff growth.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols as outlined in the Directorate's Health and Safety Policy.
  • Perform additional tasks, training, and/or work hours reasonably required and aligned with the job's general responsibilities.
