About the Role
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Theatre Practitioner to undertake the role of Deputy Clinical Lead for Trauma and Orthopaedic within the scrub speciality at Main Theatres, Princess of Wales Hospital.
This is a pivotal role in our Theatre Management structure to provide support and leadership to the team and to drive forward innovative service change in partnership with the Multidisciplinary Team.
Main Responsibilities
The post holder will be expected to be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills and a wide knowledge of Trauma and Elective Orthopaedic services.
They will work in collaboration with a fellow Deputy Clinical lead and dynamic Practitioner team to provide advice, support and leadership.
The post holder will be required to demonstrate success in a management and a clinical role and provide evidence of their credibility and capability during the interview process.
Requirements
- Significant experience working at Band 5 or above
- Clinical Trauma and Orthopaedic Scrub Experience
- Good standard of written application
- Evidence of CPD specific to role
