Anaesthetic Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our team at Princess of Wales Hospital theatre department. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Main DutiesAs a Theatre Anaesthetics Specialist, you will be working in Main Theatres covering a variety of specialities. You will be expected to use your clinical and evidenced-based knowledge and skills to actively contribute to service development across the perioperative pathway, identifying opportunities and supporting individuals in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
You will be required to work on all shift types to meet departmental needs, and you will be expected to be hardworking, motivated, and keen to further your development within a supportive culture.
Our Operating Theatres are a dynamic and interesting place to work, with emergency cover provided 24/7, 365 days a year. We offer a range of surgical specialties, including Emergency/Trauma, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmic, Urology, and Paediatrics.
We are committed to staff education and development, with a Perioperative Educator available to teach on site and support provided through mentors and a highly experienced team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post, but English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
