Job Overview

Key Duties:
  • Supervise and develop the team to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Engage in direct casework when needed, conducting thorough assessments and developing tailored intervention plans.
  • Ensure the team maintains high standards of practice, adhering to relevant legislation and guidelines.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, identifying areas for growth and development.
  • Coordinate the provision of support services, including benefits advice, mobility assistance, and social isolation initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
  • A recognised social work qualification and current registration.
  • Proven experience in community-based social care, particularly with older adults and people with disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws and best practices, especially concerning vulnerable populations.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

This role comes with a competitive salary package, estimated at £40,000 per annum, plus additional benefits.
