Job Title: Process Controls Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Process Controls Specialist to join our team on a 2-year fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upgrade of existing control systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Process Improvement and Process Engineering teams in the development and programming of control sequences
- Utilize standards developed for programming of DCS, ESD, and SCADA HMI packages
- Assist with operational implementation of process control and infrastructure modifications and upgrades
- Provide technical expertise in support of capital projects, process evaluation, and project modifications
Requirements:
- HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical/Controls (EC&I) or similar
- Demonstrate relevant experience in Process Control and Safety Shutdown hardware, software, and configuration
- Experience within a continuous manufacturing process environment (ideally a top-tier COMAH site) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to understand fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving techniques using Process Control systems and Data Historian
