About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Service Director to join our team at Bupa Care Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and assisting all aspects of nursing care and activities within our care home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the care home
  • Create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medication records
  • Ensure adequate staffing is maintained within the care home
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity
  • Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, as well as with local partners and stakeholders
  • Liaise with local partners to raise the care home's profile in the local area and beyond
Requirements
  • Valid UK NMC pin and commitment to NMC Codes of Conduct and professional development
  • Understanding of the impact of quality nursing care on residents' lives, promoting independence, choice, and dignity
  • Up-to-date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control, and care planning
  • Ability to build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills, with a compassionate and patient approach
